Dory is in development. The invite-only beta has not opened yet; prices and limits are planned and may change.

Troubleshooting

Start with the response's CE-Request-Id, stable Problem.code and the current computer/operation IDs. Keep credentials, terminal output and screenshots out of public reports. A timeout or lost connection is not proof that a mutation failed.

Lifecycle and capacity

Symptom Inspect Safe next action
capacity_unavailable GET /limits, current size and tier Wait or choose an admitted size; do not loop new create requests
host_busy Retry-After, current operation and rate headers Back off within a finite deadline; reads and queued stop/pause/delete have different rules
202 after a waiter expires Retained operation and computer IDs Poll the same operation; do not assume it was canceled
Superseded lifecycle operation Old and newer operation IDs Follow the newer request; do not retry the old start
agent_unreachable Running/ready, bootstrap and setup status Recover through SSH if authorized; a running computer may remain billed

Setup and the guest

A failed setup script is distinct from readiness. Inspect its bounded log/status privately and fix the script or image; do not create repeated machines to guess at the failure. If our in-guest agent was removed or altered, data APIs may return 502 while SSH still works. Agent recovery does not by itself reverse charges. Use supported agent versions; agent_outdated is a compatibility refusal.

Access and applications

An SSH host-key mismatch after restore requires comparison with the authenticated SSH-info fingerprint, not StrictHostKeyChecking=no. A preview 502 means inspect the guest service and port; issuing another preview does not start the server. Session 404 can mean the named session expired or was pruned; 401 concerns caller authentication. Renew authority explicitly and check current restrictions rather than repeatedly using an expired URL.

Money and retention

A top-up in review needs the actual invoice/payment evidence and recorded decision. Do not reconstruct credit from a screenshot or assume a webhook order establishes settlement. A receipt or mail exception is not a refund or delivery proof. Positive available credited funds clear low-balance retention only under its recovery rules, and do not start computers or restore revoked authority. See Low balance, Billing and Errors.
