OpenAPI and AsyncAPI files
The API description for Dory's customer-facing operations is published as machine-readable files. Use them to generate clients or to check a client against the contract.
- OpenAPI 3.1 (openapi.yaml) describes the HTTP operations, request and response media, parameters, schemas, errors and security. The same description is rendered in the API reference.
- AsyncAPI (asyncapi.yaml) describes the streaming channels and messages (terminal, desktop, browser, process output and events).
These files are the public edition of the contract. They list only operations you can call at launch. The API itself is designed to serve its description at GET /openapi.yaml and GET /asyncapi.yaml under its own origin, https://api.agents.computeengines.com/v1, once the service is live; it is not live yet.
Dory is in development: an operation being in the description does not mean a running service implements it today. See Status. API v1 changes are additive; the versioning policy explains deprecation and compatibility. Binary RFB and SSH frames are not JSON frames. Follow the streaming guides for each protocol's authorization and lifetime.
Dory is in development; these pages describe the planned service and may change. Questions: support@computeengines.com.
